Time Matters Installation
Software installation
can often be confusing when networks and servers are
involved. Zarti Time Matters Consultants are
knowledgeable in getting Time Matters software setup
on your network and distributed on your staff's
computers. We'll dissect your network an ensure that
it is capable of handling the Time Matters database.
We can also assist with version upgrades.
Data
Conversion
Once your Time Matters Database is up and
running, you'll likely want your data from another
application imported. Time Matters has built in
conversion tools that we can configure to quickly
import existing data so you can start working
without having to do double entry. Imports can be
performed from the following applications: Amicus
Attorney, Abacus Law, ACT, GoldMine, Outlook, PCLaw,
TimeSlips, QuickBooks, Juris, Tabs3, and Deadlines
on Demand.
Software Setup
Though Time Matters is extremely
detailed, it's not ready right out of the box.
Before customization even begins we will perform
basic configuration such as: adding staff & users,
program/user/workstation level settings, security
profiles and integrations with other software
applications.
Customization
Time Matters is one of the most customizable
software databases on the market. By gaining a deep
understanding of your firm's daily functions and
performing a needs analysis, we are able to plan a
systematic approach to configuring Time Matters to
support your business. We've seen that this approach
not only enhances the usefulness of the product, but
also increases a firm's productivity and as a
result; profitability.
Report Design
Using the Time Matters built-in report designer we
will work with your firm to craft visually aesthetic
and easy to read reports that let you "get out" what
you "put in." These reports can be designed to show
mezzanine views for executive overviews or minute
detail for deep dive reviews.
Business Process Automation
One of the most practical features included with
Time Matters is the ability to automate much of the
daily work process. Time Matters includes a document
management system, mail and email merge template
capability, and auto entry forms that allow users to
populate common data over and over without having to
manually enter it time and again.
Time & Billing
For any firm providing a service; time is
inventory. By entering billing records in Time
Matters your firm will always know how its resources
are being utilized and you'll have precise knowledge
of your "inventory". Let us customize your reports
and you'll be amazed how accurately and easily you
can manage your time and client engagements.
Training
Having staff knowledgeable with the systems their
provided is the key to efficiency. Zarti's
consultants can imbue your staff with a keen
understanding of how Time Matters functions and how
it has been customized to support your daily
business process. In addition to our training
programs listed below, we can also create guides and
manuals tailored to your system.
One on One training:
Our Time Matters CIC will train a new employee,
single team member, or business owner on-site and
give them the personal attention they need to exceed
with Time Matters.
Group Training:
Using a laptop and projector we can walk a team or
group through training in segmented sessions.
Power User training:
It is often a good idea to have at least one person
on staff who is proficient as a Time Matters
administrator. This power user can often handle
admin tasks such as: creating reports and quicktabs,
designing powerviews, performing backups and
database utilities/maintenance. A power user can
also act as a control point for quality control
procedures. We can get them up to speed.
